Tor Browser Configuration

Access to the drughub darknet infrastructure requires the Tor Browser to resolve .onion top-level domains. This specialized browser routes traffic through a volunteer overlay network consisting of more than seven thousand relays to conceal a user's location and usage from anyone conducting network surveillance or traffic analysis.

> CONFIGURATION Set Security Level to 'Safer' or 'Safest'. Note that 'Safest' disables JavaScript entirely, which may impact some dynamic UI elements but offers maximum security.

Connection & Handshake

Initiate the connection. The first request may take up to 45 seconds as the circuit is built. Upon successful resolution, the drughub market perimeter defense system will challenge the connection.

Identity Creation

Drughub Market enforces a zero-knowledge architecture. We do not store email addresses or personal identifiers. Registration generates a cryptographic salt unique to your user profile.

Credentials

Username: Public identifier. Do not use handles associated with other platforms.

PIN: 6-digit numeric code required for withdrawals and order changes.

Mnemonic Seed

A 12-word recovery phrase is displayed ONCE upon creation. This is the only method to recover a lost account. Write it down physically; do not save it digitally.

PGP Encryption Layer

Operational security is incomplete without PGP (Pretty Good Privacy). Navigating to /settings/pgp allows you to upload your public key. This unlocks two critical features:

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Login attempts present an encrypted challenge message. Only the holder of the private key can decrypt the challenge and verify the session.

End-to-End Encryption

All sensitive shipping data is automatically encrypted with the vendor's public key by the marketplace engine, but manual encryption is recommended for redundancy.

CRYPTO CURRENCY PROTOCOL: MONERO (XMR)

REQ_LEVEL: MANDATORY

Drughub Market exclusively utilizes Monero (XMR) for all financial settlements. Unlike Bitcoin, Monero uses ring signatures, stealth addresses, and RingCT to obfuscate the sender, receiver, and transaction amount on the blockchain.
